The Chicagoland area has a tremendous density of professionals, faculty, and students that identify themselves as part of the acoustical community.  Our local chapter provides a place for an exchange of ideas, satisfaction of our curiosity about one another, and an opportunity to learn about the activities in parallel acoustical disciplines that we might apply to our own.
